At 6:00 on July 23, Han Xianying, a villager in Qianzhuang village, Fancun Town, Taigu District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and his wife got up early in the morning. Han Xianying, 60, is in good health. The soil in Qianzhuang village where she is located is good, with thin walnut skin, big kernel and plump corn grains. In the past, due to the traffic conditions, it was difficult to transport the things growing in the field, and the life was very tight. "In 1993, there was a" railway bus "at the door of our house, and agricultural products followed the train out of the mountains." Han Xianying recalled.
Han Xianying's "rail transit" is the 8171 / 8172 train running on the Taijiao line. From the train timetable, there are only five stops in Taiyuan, Yuci, Yushe, Wuxiang and Qinxian. In order to facilitate the travel of the people in Taihang mountain area, the railway department has also set up 22 boarding and landing points along the route, such as haocun, Hongya, Taiqu, and juanting, which do not handle passenger transport business. The villagers from the surrounding villages and towns, counties and even provincial cities can get on and off from the boarding and alighting points and handle the business of making up tickets on the train. The whole journey of this train is 192 kilometers. The whole journey ticket price has been kept at 10.5 yuan in 27 years. Most of the villagers who get on the train in the middle of the way only need 45 yuan to go to the provincial city and county. The safe, convenient and economical train 8171 / 8172 is called the "railway bus" in Taihang Mountain by local people, and it is the "rich car" for the people in old areas.
Since the "rail transit", the life of Han Xianying's family has gradually improved. The corn, walnut and millet in the field have been sold very well from the village to the city by train. "Many train attendants often introduce me to buyers and help me sell agricultural products." Han Xianying said.
After breakfast, Han Xianying set out with fresh vegetables just picked from the field. It's more than 2 kilometers from Han Xianying's home to the nearest boarding and landing point. Han Xianying doesn't think it's far away. When sun Xiaoli, the conductor of train 8171 / 8172, saw elder sister Han coming, she immediately helped her carry the basket and bag and took her into the carriage. "Sometimes, before getting off the train, vegetables and eggs are bought up by railway commuters and passengers," Han said
Taking the "railway bus", Han Xianying's green and organic agricultural products have made a name. Now, some businesses directly order from her, including her home corn, walnut. Last year, her family sold more than 5000 yuan of walnuts and 30000 yuan of millet and corn. Her family's income was 340000 yuan, saying goodbye to poverty. "This year, I bought more than 80 Luhua chickens and laid 30 to 40 stupid eggs a day. A jin of stupid eggs 12 yuan, every month to sell eggs have 1800 yuan income. Life is getting better and better! " Looking forward to a more happy life, Han Xianying's eyes flashed with light.
