The flood control inspection road is winding in the mountains and forests according to the mountain situation. Originally, it is only 100 meters away from the top of the mountain. However, if you take the inspection Road, it will be "lengthened" by more than 1000 meters. From the foot of the mountain to here, we have walked for more than two hours on the mountain road. In May, Lai Qiufeng carried out flood control work in baobeihe road and bridge maintenance area. Lai Qiufeng remembers that when she inspected the dangerous rocks for the first time, she could not keep up with her physical strength. She could not lift her legs as if she had been filled with lead. She walked and stopped all the way and finally got to the top of the mountain.

With the passage of time and the increase of mountain climbing times, Lai Qiufeng finally developed a pair of "iron feet", which greatly improved her physical strength and endurance. She could climb to the top of the mountain in one breath. After the flood season came, Lai Qiufeng's wechat steps per day were about 20000 steps, and even 25000 steps when launching the flood control emergency plan. "After the emergency plan for flood control is launched, four grade I flood control points shall be covered and inspected every day, and 10 flood control level II points shall be inspected as frequently as possible, basically 10 km" bottoming out "every day." Lai said.

"Iron Lady" not only developed a pair of iron feet, but also explored the "footwork" of going up and down steep slopes: cat walking up the mountain, focusing on the front and taking big strides; walking down the mountain with the soles of her feet inclined to the ground as far as possible, and taking small steps with the toe buckle inside.

Along the Zhanglong line, Lai Qiufeng opened her legs and walked to another flood control point. Her figure turned into a rainbow, projected in the sky deep in the mountains after the rain.
