Set up "sentry" to ensure smooth operation
"Three days after the rain is a period of high incidence of water disasters, all workshops should maintain a high degree of vigilance, do a good job of on-site inspection and add passengers, and do a good job in logistics support." On the afternoon of July 9, Qin Tao, head of Macheng public works depot, reminded cadres and workers to continue to play the role of "three steps and one sentry, five steps and one post" to ensure the safety of train operation.
In recent days, Huanggang City in Hubei Province has been hit by rainstorms, and the line and bridge equipment between Macheng and Caishan on Beijing Kowloon railway line is facing severe test. According to the geological conditions and river distribution, Macheng Public Works section formulates the inspection system of "two people, one shift, 8-hour rotation, 24-hour uninterrupted" according to local conditions, and draws a 3-km or 5-km itinerary map, going up and down the mountain and river, facing the wind and rain, focusing on the inspection of exposed rock slope, mortar rubble retaining wall, gutter side ditch, shallow foundation bridge and culvert. More than 200 cadres and workers "three steps and one sentry" along the 170 kilometer line, without leakage for one meter and landing at one place to investigate hidden dangers.
For the hidden dangers such as embankment collapse, water overflowing road bed and station area wall lodging found in the inspection, measures such as adding temporary flood control guard points and timely renovation and reinforcement are taken to ensure that the hidden danger investigation and repair can not be carried out overnight. For 50 inverted siphon canals, high-level flood bridges and ponds close to the railway, they took the measure of replacing patrol with guard and keeping a close eye on them. On the 170 km route, more than 100 cadres and workers "five steps and one post" stood firm to their positions and strictly prevented them from sticking to their posts.
At present, there are more than 300 watchmen in key flood control sections, 2244 people going out in the rain, and 27 potential flood hazards are found and disposed in time, which ensures the safety and smooth flow of Beijing Kowloon artery.
