"Father Jiang" in the mountain station
On June 2, a light rain shrouded Goukou station in a dense atmosphere. Before the rain stopped, Jiang Falin, a 55 year old station attendant, stepped onto the platform. Jiang Falin works at a boarding and landing station on the Bolin railway. The "earth platform" made of sand and soil is flooded out of the puddle. Jiang Falin quickly brings some soil to fill it up.
In 20 minutes, the 6240 / 6237 passenger train will arrive. At that time, the children of Goukou village will rush into the station to get on. At the thought of the children's chirping laughter, Jiang Falin's face opened a smile.
Affected by the novel coronavirus pneumonia, Jiang Falin has been out of sight for half a year with his children, and his mind is always empty.
Goukou station is located in Goukou village, Boketu Town, Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. There are more than 100 households in the village, mainly farming. There is a long history of Bolin railway, connecting Boketu, Hailar, Yakeshi and other places. Two pairs of passenger trains stop every day. Among them, the 6240 / 6237 passenger train from thar gas to Hailar has been running for 70 years. There is no school in Goukou village. All the children in the village have to take the train with the lowest fare of only 1 yuan to go to school in bocketu and other places. Therefore, this "slow train" has become the "school bus" for children in the village to go to school.
Most of the people in the village work in the foreign affairs agriculture and migrant workers. Their children carry their schoolbags when they go to school and come to the station in groups. Therefore, Jiang Falin became the children's "temporary father".
Jiang Falin has been working in this station for 36 years. He is very familiar with the villagers. The villagers are also relieved to give the children to Lao Jiang. There is no standard platform in the station. It's hard for children to get on the train. Jiang Falin takes the children to the train one by one. When the children return, he takes them down one by one. The train stops for only three minutes. Jiang Falin is very busy every time.
In the past 36 years, Jiang Falin has done countless things to lift his children. Many children have been admitted to university and walked out of the mountain. Years climbed up the brow of Jiang Falin, his wrinkles are more, his back is also curved. Today, Jiang Falin is still standing at the door of the car, handing his schoolbag and parcel, and he keeps on nagging. His words are full of concern.
In Jiang Falin's heart, these children are all his own. "There are primary school students and junior high school students in the car. All the children in the city have their parents to take care of them when they go to school and after school. It's heartbreaking that our children in the mountain go out by train at a young age. What I can do is to ensure the safety of these children's travel." Jiang Falin said.
In order to take good care of the children, Jiang Falin became a village know-how. He remembered the name and class of the school dolls in the village. When picking up the car and finding out whose children didn't come back, he would ask them carefully. In order to look after the children, Jiang Falin made rules for these children: "before the train stops stably, no one is allowed to get close to it. The primary school students must follow me."
Chen Xiaodong, a 32-year-old linkman at bochtu station, is a colleague of Jiang Falin, but he has different feelings for Jiang Falin. Because 22 years ago, 10-year-old Chen Xiaodong was Jiang Falin who took the train to school.
"The generation of railway people left behind by Mr. Jiang is kind and selfless, which is worthy of our inheritance. This road to study should be guarded by our generation of railway people." The small station after the rain exudes the fragrance of the earth. Chen Xiaodong looks at the railway "school bus" running in the mountains with firm eyes.
