China's first special train of AIDS and anti epidemic materials to Europe

On June 10, the first national special train for AIDS to France and epidemic prevention materials from Jiangxi Province has entered Europe, and will arrive in Paris, France, in the next two weeks.

The train started from Henggang station of Nanchang (Xiangtang) international dry port on June 4, carrying 20 million masks, 45 million pairs of gloves, 1.3 million water-soluble bags, and touch free disinfectant machines and other products with a total amount of 10 million euros. The special train will travel nearly 14000 kilometers across seven countries and regions in three weeks, with the cost reduced by about 30 times compared with air transportation and the transportation time reduced by more than ten days compared with sea transportation.

In order to ensure the safe and punctual arrival of this special train, the railway department strengthened coordination and linkage, cooperated closely with the customs and other departments and relevant enterprises, opened up green channels, carefully organized the sources of goods, containers, vehicles and labor, optimized the operation process, improved the handling efficiency, and implemented the "one-stop" customized service; strengthened the whole transportation organization, smoothed the port handover operation, and closely followed Railway coordination and linkage between countries.
