China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. attaches great importance to the role of technical prevention in flood control security system. With the flood season officially entering on June 1, UAV, 3D modeling, satellite navigation, 2D code check and other technical prevention means play an important role in ensuring the safety of flood season.

This year, Taiyuan Bureau Group Company set up 700 two-dimensional code signs in flood control locations and key sections, and established two-dimensional code files for equipment. Flood control personnel can query the key points of flood control, on-site real-time situation and emergency rescue route of the section by scanning the code with mobile phones.

"Before the flood season, we have completed the flood prevention and pre rescue works such as adding drainage ditch and sedimentation tank at Taiyuan north station." Xue Tao, business director of the bridge and tunnel section of Taiyuan Public Works section, said, "the terrain and geomorphology data obtained by UAV aerial photography can accurately determine the terrain trend of the flood prone area, 3D modeling technology can accurately calculate the flood discharge capacity of drainage equipment, and optimize the design of drainage facilities."

The group company also has 34 ecological slopes. They use ecological technology to prevent soil erosion of subgrade slope, fix ecological bags and ecological grids with grass seeds on both sides of the railway slope, and effectively disperse the intensity of rainwater erosion.
