On December 26, 2019, Ningbo Chuanshan port railway was put into operation, providing necessary line facilities for Chuanshan port to start rail sea intermodal transport business. After the official opening of Chuanshan port station, rail sea intermodal cargo can directly enter and leave the Chuanshan port area by train, so that the "belt and road" can be seamlessly connected in the port area. It is reported that Chuanshan port station has designed 4 arrival departure tracks and 2 loading and unloading tracks in advance, equipped with 4 track gantry cranes and 1 shunting locomotive, which can meet the requirements of taking, delivering and loading and unloading of the whole train of rail sea intermodal containers. In the short term and long term, the design capacity of rail sea intermodal operation is 600000 standard containers and 800000 standard containers respectively.
