On March 24, a container train carrying bauxite imported from Indonesia left Qinhuangdao east station for Yuanping, Shanxi Province. As an important project of "transit railway" from port to port of China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the routine operation of the train has opened another railway sea intermodal channel for Shanxi Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., which can transport 1 million tons of bauxite for the company every year.

Shanxi Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. is one of the eight alumina production bases in China, with an annual demand of 6 million tons of bauxite. Since 2018, Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has carried out port clearance "transit railway" for the raw materials imported by the enterprise from Indonesia and Guinea. It has formulated a 35 ton open top box sea iron intermodal transport plan for the enterprise. So far, it has transported more than 3.6 million tons of bauxite through jingtanggang station and Caofeidian west station. In March this year, in view of the fact that the demand for imported raw materials of the enterprise has increased and the original port can no longer meet the production and supply, Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. actively coordinated with Qinhuangdao Port Authority to release the port dredging capacity, and took Qinhuangdao east station as the new port "public to rail" station.

In order to do a good job in transportation, Daqin train depot actively assists the port to train the operator of the loader lifting 35 tons of open top box, and level the site to adapt to the loading conditions of 35 tons of open top box; in view of the requirement that the full load rate proposed by Shanxi Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. should reach 98%, carry out the over balance test carefully, and carry out the load reduction and replenishment according to the actual situation. On March 21, the railway, port and enterprise jointly signed the strategic cooperation agreement on port dredging bauxite in Qinhuangdao port.

At the same time, Daqin train depot actively overcame the impact of the epidemic situation, planned transportation organization plan in advance, assisted the port in decomposing train operation, coordinated and solved a series of problems such as short barge transfer, vehicle application, fast loading and unloading after the arrival of goods, optimized loading organization, prepared loading and unloading equipment, realized the unloading upon arrival, fast loading and unloading, compressed the operation time of goods, with high efficiency Railway transportation ensures seamless connection of rail sea intermodal transportation.
