On March 17, two boxcars were parked on the special railway line of petrochemical branch of Tarim Oilfield Company, located in the economic development zone of Korla City, Xinjiang. The chemical fertilizer just produced was transferred back and forth by forklift, and a bag of chemical fertilizer was transported to the boxcar by eight conveyor belts. The scene was busy. The petrochemical branch of Tarim Oilfield Company has a daily output of 1500 tons of urea, which is mainly used to support spring ploughing production in southern Xinjiang. The company has been ramping up production since it returned to work in early February. In March, spring cultivation began in southern Xinjiang. In order to ensure the rapid transportation of chemical fertilizer in spring ploughing, China Railway Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd. provides transportation organization support. Korla freight center takes the initiative to connect with fertilizer production enterprises, timely understand the fertilizer production and transportation demand, formulate transportation plans, dispatch freight personnel to assist in transportation, dynamically grasp the transportation of fertilizer on special lines every day, and ensure that vehicles enter the line in time for transportation. In addition to daily guarantee of timely transportation of scattered chemical fertilizer, Korla freight center also specially opened up green channels, organized and operated chemical fertilizer trains in southern Xinjiang for many times, to achieve rapid loading and transportation of chemical fertilizer. According to statistics, from January 1 to March 18, the Korla freight center has shipped more than 660 vehicles and 40000 tons of agricultural supporting fertilizer, and has opened six South Xinjiang chemical fertilizer trains, providing strong support for Xinjiang's economic and social development.
