Horuo railway is a railway from Hotan area of Xinjiang to Ruoqiang County of Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, with a total length of 825.476km. It was built in 2018 and is planned to open to traffic in 2021.

In 2020, horuo railway plans to complete the main construction tasks of 520km line track laying and 19 station buildings, production and living buildings. After the completion of horuo railway, a circular railway will be formed around the Tarim basin with geku railway and Nanjiang railway to help the economic and social development along the line and maintain national unity.
