Weigh! Aidai tunnel of Chengdu Kunming Railway lasted 183 days

After 183 days, the new yan'e tunnel of Chengdu Kunming Railway's Sichuan Ganluo emergency line reconstruction project was successfully completed on March 9, and the southwest traffic artery was about to resume normal operation.

On August 14, 2019, affected by continuous rainfall, the right side of k310km section between Lianghong station and Adai station of Ganluo section of Chengdu Kunming Railway suddenly collapsed high mountain, causing line interruption. After emergency repair by the railway department, some passenger trains were temporarily resumed on December 2.

In order to ensure the normal operation of Chengdu Kunming railway, through the design, on-site survey by railway departments and relevant geological experts, the scheme for emergency recovery of the old project at K310 km of Chengdu Kunming railway and the "winding scheme" for the construction of nearly 2 km in the disaster area are determined. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of this year. The new Adai tunnel, with a total length of 1545 meters, was started on September 7, 2019, with a total construction period of about 200 days. It is expected that the new Adai tunnel will be completed and put into use on April 30.
