1. Is smoking allowed on the train?
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all parts of the train. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the carriage of ordinary passenger trains. At present, some trains have smoking points at the door or at the junction of carriage. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the regulations on the administration of railway safety (Order No. 639 of the State Council), those who smoke on EMU trains or in non-smoking areas of other trains shall be ordered by the public security organ to make corrections and be fined not less than 500 yuan but not more than 2000 yuan.
2. What services do EMU business and first-class passengers enjoy?
At present, some high-speed rail EMU trains provide free services such as drinks and small food for first-class passengers and above. During lunch and dinner, provide free meal service for business passengers. Please consult the train staff for details.
3. Is there a VIP room or soft seat waiting room in the station?
The provincial capital city and other large-scale high-speed railway stations are equipped with independent VIP waiting area to provide relevant services for EMU business passengers waiting in the station. Some normal speed stations are equipped with soft seat waiting rooms (areas) to provide relevant services for passengers with soft sleeper tickets waiting in the station. 4. What services can business passengers enjoy in the station?
At the main high-speed railway stations in municipalities directly under the central government, provincial capital cities and cities specifically designated in the plan, assistance and guidance services shall be provided to business passengers, and priority shall be given to ticket collection, security inspection, verification services and waiting services in business seats. The waiting area of business seat provides free beverage, food, newspaper, film and television services, as well as information services such as train arrival and departure time, ticket gate, platform, etc. Please consult the station staff for details.
