Meter gauge China Vietnam international intermodal trains return to normal transportation

At 12:36 on February 11, 1211 m-rail China Vietnam international intermodal train slowly stopped at platform 1 of China hillside border station, and the epidemic prevention personnel in white coats immediately disinfected the vehicles.

The train is loaded with 19 vehicles of 868 tons of imported sulfur. After inspection and quarantine, it will be transported to Kaiyuan city as soon as possible and become the raw material for spring fertilizer production. This is the seventh inbound freight train after the resumption of transportation of China Vietnam international intermodal train, which is based on the existing meter gauge railway.

Kaiyuan city, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, is an important industrial town and one of the main production areas of Yunnan fertilizer. Every year, Kaiyuan chemical fertilizer processing enterprises will transport and import sulfur through the meter gauge China Vietnam international intermodal transport channel, and produce million tons of chemical fertilizer for marketing in the national and Southeast Asian markets, with the largest market share in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and other countries.

Shanyao border station is located at the border of China and Vietnam. The railway across the two countries has a hundred years of transportation history. Nowadays, meter gauge railway is still playing an important role. Among them, the meter gauge China Vietnam International combined transport train, which transports imported sulfur and exported chemical fertilizer, is its bright business card.

Novel coronavirus pneumonia has been affected by transportation since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia. China's hillside station to Laojie Station in Vietnam from February 4th to 7, the international rail transport lines between the two meters are closed.

At 12:36 on February 8, 1211 trains arrived at Shanyao station safely, and the 4-day International combined transport business was gradually restored to normal.

In order to prevent and control the epidemic situation, Shanyao station shall refine the handover measures to avoid contact infection, measure the body temperature of all the personnel on duty of each train, make records, disinfect the guard car of the personnel, and ensure the smooth operation of the train and the health and safety of the personnel.

It is understood that since the train was opened, 2022 trains have been opened and 800000 tons of goods have been shipped.
