The passenger flow of the railway continues to decrease at low level

On February 5, China's railway transportation was smooth, safe and orderly, sending 1.19 million passengers, down 89.4% year-on-year; sending 1012 tons of goods, unchanged year-on-year.

From February 3 to 5, 23 passengers in 22 batches, 12 passengers in 12 batches, and 7 passengers in 7 batches were delivered with fever on the national railway trains, which decreased continuously in the last three days. As of 18:00 on February 5, a total of 403 passenger trains have delivered 489 hot passengers.

All railway departments shall strengthen transportation guarantee and make every effort to ensure the prevention and control of material transportation. By 18:00 on February 5, China's railways had shipped 2920 batches, 114053 pieces and 29845 tons of epidemic prevention and control materials. Among them, 2293 batches of epidemic prevention materials, 105875 pieces, 2365 tons; 627 batches of living materials, 8178 pieces, 27480 tons.

The railway department will pay close attention to the time arrangement of returning to work and school, timely add passenger trains according to the change of passenger flow, carefully arrange the capacity of peak staggering return after the festival, scientifically arrange the distribution of seats, and organize the passengers in the train to sit separately. At the same time, further strengthen the comprehensive temperature measurement of passengers in and out of the station and the random temperature measurement of passengers during the operation of the train, and make every effort to prevent and control the epidemic situation of the station.
