Recently, Tianjin rail transit line Z4 phase I project PPP project public bidding prequalification announcement released, according to the announcement, Z4 line phase I project construction period 4 years a total of 24 stations, with a total budget of 55 billion 300 million.

Implementation plan approved

According to the announcement, the feasibility study report of the PPP project of the first phase of Z4 line of Tianjin Rail Transit has been approved, and the people's Government of Binhai New Area of Tianjin has completed the approval of the implementation plan of the project. The first phase project of Tianjin Rail Transit Line Z4 is 43.7 km long, including 17.4 km underground section, 24.9 km elevated section, 0.9 km open section and 0.5 km subgrade section. There are 24 stations in the whole line, with an average distance of about 1.8km, including 12 underground stations, 11 elevated stations and 1 ground station; the maximum operating speed is 120km / h. With reference to the feasibility study report of the project, the predicted results of the whole day passenger traffic volume of the first phase of rail transit line Z4 are 276000 person times / day, 692000 person times / day and 1053000 person times / day respectively.

Open to traffic in 2023

The first phase of line Z4 starts from the new city parking lot in the South and ends at Hangu Yingcheng Street Station in the north, passing through the central New City, Yujiapu area, Binhai station (formerly Yujiapu station), Binhai cultural center, economic development zone, Beitang, and Zhongxin Tianjin eco city. At present, the first phase of Z4 line is under construction in the elevated section of eco city section, one section of two stations of Jinlin Road, one section of Taida station and Beitang station, Yujiapu Rongren Road, and it is expected that the north section will be ready for traffic in 2023. In July 2019, the first diaphragm wall of TEDA station of line B2 (Metro Line Z4) contracted by China Railway 12th Bureau was successfully started. Taida station of Metro Z4 line 7, with a total length of 152.22 meters and a platform length of 140 meters, is located in the south side of Xingang Road 4. It is an island platform station with two floors, two columns and three spans of 16.8 meters, which transfers with Jinbin Light Rail Line 9. At present, the relevant construction of the elevated section can be seen in the Central Avenue.
