Lhasa end beam erecting task of Lalin railway completed successfully
At 12:00 on the 28th, with the last T-beam of Baizhen super large bridge stably erected on the abutment, it marked the successful completion of the beam erecting task at Lhasa end of Larin railway. Located in SANGRI County, Shannan City, the
Baizhen super major bridge is 2771 meters long and composed of 84 holes and 32 meters simply supported T-beams. It is the first super major bridge from SANGRI station to Linzhi, and the last bridge at Lhasa pyaokou. The completion of the Baizhen super large bridge also means that the laying and erecting construction of Lhasa end of the Lalin railway has achieved a stage victory. The third company of
China Railway 11th bureau is responsible for the track laying of 399.61 km main line and the prefabrication and erection of 1814 hole T-beam. The railway has crossed the Yarlung Zangbo River 16 times, with complex geological conditions and poor construction environment. The bridge tunnel ratio is as high as 75%. Since the formal erection in October 2018, all the staff participating in the construction have built a new era spirit highland of "higher altitude, higher spirit", overcoming the difficulties of plateau hypoxia, strong UV, strong sandstorm, large temperature difference between day and night, and completed all construction tasks excellently. Up to now, the railway has completed the track laying of 124 km main line and the beam erecting of 1497 holes.
