Recently, the adaptability transformation project of Shashi South Railway Station of Jingsha railway has passed the acceptance and put into use, laying a solid foundation for improving the capacity of iron water intermodal transportation in our city.

according to the introduction, Shashi South Station of Jingsha railway is located in Yanka port. There are four tracks in the station and 400 m coal unloading cargo line. The adaptive transformation project started on October 1 this year. The main works of the project include extending the corresponding station track southward, extending the total length of 769m, and laying three groups of switches. After the completion of the

adaptive transformation project, the capacity of each station track in Shashi south railway station has increased to more than 42 vehicles, which effectively alleviates the storage pressure caused by the insufficient effective length of the station track, improves the operation efficiency of the station, and lays a solid foundation for improving the capacity of rail water intermodal transportation.
