Qingdao West Railway Station will have the function of EMU departure

At 0:30 a.m. today, the running line of Qingdao West Railway Station EMU storage yard started to connect with the existing line project of Qingdao salt railway. After more than two hours of construction, the construction personnel of China Railway 10th Bureau completed the connection construction of the two railway lines. The completion of this construction marks that Qingdao west railway station has the function of EMU starting and ending.

it is understood that the project of Qingdao west railway station is led out by Qingdao West Railway Station, with a total length of 5.028km. It is introduced into the depot after crossing s329 provincial highway, Fenghe River and Lishui river. In the near future, there are 7 storage lines, 7 reserved lines, and long-term comprehensive maintenance work area and further development conditions reserved in Qingdao West Railway Station. At present, 7 storage lines have been basically built, the effective parking line is 650 meters long, and can park up to 21 8-car EMU trains. According to the construction unit China Railway 10th Bureau, after the completion of the project of the running line and storage yard of the EMU in Qingdao West Railway Station, the EMU train can stay overnight in Qingdao West Railway Station and depart at Qingdao west railway station the next morning, which greatly facilitates the citizens of the West Coast NEW area to take the early bus to all parts of the country.
