On November 28, with the slow fall and accurate positioning of the last closure section, the 128 meter simply supported steel tube arch bridge of Jinzhong super large bridge of Taiyuan Jiaozuo railway project contracted by the engineering machinery plant of China Railway First Bureau material and Trade Co., Ltd. was successfully closed, which marked a stage breakthrough in the construction of the project and created another favorable condition for the early opening of the project. As a key project of Taiyuan Jiaozuo railway, the
bridge started to install the support on November 1, 2019, the first section on November 7, and the last main arch beam on November 28. After 28 days, the closure was realized, 2 days ahead of the original schedule. The main bridge structure of the bridge is a 128 m Nielsen system simply supported arch bridge with ballasted track. The calculated span is 128M. There are 26 arch rib hoisting sections in total. The arch rib adopts catenary. The arch rib inclines 8 degrees inward in the transverse bridge in the form of basket. The cross section of the arch rib adopts dumbbell shaped concrete filled steel tube with equal cross section. Stiffeners are set in the circular steel tube at each interval, and tie rods are welded in the two webs.
