The second crossing of Yarlung Zangbo River during the construction of Lhasa Linzhi section of Sichuan Tibet Railway
Shannan, Beijing, Dec. 2 (Jiang Feibo, Cui Jinfeng) China Railway 11th Bureau revealed on Dec. 1 that the Lhasa Linzhi section of Sichuan Tibet Railway contracted by the Bureau has been successfully paved to the Yarlung Zangbo River Bridge in Rongxiang, Shannan City, Tibet. In the evening of January 1, the bridge was successfully paved and completed the second crossing of the Yarlung Zangbo River by the Lalin railway. After the bridge was paved, it was less than 2 kilometers away from SANGRI station.
it is reported that the total length of the new main line of Lhasa Linzhi section of Sichuan Tibet railway is 403.144km, the total length of bridges and tunnels is 300.975km, and the bridge tunnel ratio is 74.66%. The bridge across the whole line crosses Yajiang River 16 times, and the bridge basically adopts long-span continuous structure, so it has the characteristics of complex geological conditions and difficult engineering construction. According to
China Railway 11th Bureau, Rongxiang Yarlung Zangbo River Super Bridge is located near Rongxiang, SANGRI County, Shannan City, with a total length of 4615 meters. The bridge is composed of 100 holes of 32 meters, 1 hole of 24 meters simply supported T beam and 26 holes of 48 meters stage assembled beam. The stage assembled beam is rubber joint, segment prefabrication, bridge building machine assembly construction, and simple supported T beam is prefabricated and transported.
since entering the stage of erecting in October 2018, the erecting team of China Railway 11th Bureau has overcome the difficulties of plateau hypoxia, large temperature difference between day and night, strong wind and sand, and extended to Linzhi at the speed of 6 holes per day. At present, 1298 holes of erecting beams and 114 kilometers of track laying have been completed. It is expected that the whole line of erecting will be completed by the end of 2020. (end)
