About 40 minutes from Xi'an to Ankang

Xi'an.com: Recently, China Railway Corporation and the provincial government issued the reply on the preliminary design of the new XI'AN-ANKANG high-speed railway, marking the completion of the preliminary approval procedures of the XI'AN-ANKANG high-speed railway and the project construction entering the construction preparation stage. According to the reply, Xikang high-speed railway is led from Xi'an east railway station, after crossing Qinling Mountains, the terminal point is connected to Ankang West Railway Station. The total length of the main line of the project is 170.926 km, the design speed is 350 km / h, the total investment is 26.393 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is 5 years. There are six stations in the whole line, namely, Xi'an east station, Taihe station, Zhashui station, zhenanxi station, Tongmu station and Ankang station. The traffic time from Ankang to Xi'an will be shortened from more than three hours now to about 40 minutes.
