Construction of Jinhua Ningbo railway started

On October 29, the reporter learned from the site of Jinhua Branch of the centralized commencement ceremony of Zhejiang Province to expand effective investment in major projects that the construction of Jinhua Ningbo railway was started.

Jinhua Ningbo railway is a convenient channel from Ningbo to Jinhua Yiwu metropolitan area. The project includes Yiwu station of Shanghai Kunming Railway to Yunlong station of Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Railway, including supporting projects of Jinhua area and Ningbo hub. From Yunlong station to Yiwu station (excluding) for Jinhua Ningbo railway, the length of the new line is 188.3km; from Yunlong station to Hetian station of Shanghai Kunming railway, the length of the new line is 185.6km. There are 9 stations in the whole line, including Yunlong, Fenghua, Xikou, Xinchang, Shengzhou, Nanshan lake, Hulu, Dongyang and Suxi.

It is understood that the design speed of Jinhua Ningbo railway is 160km / h, and the reserved speed is 200km / h. The construction clearance meets the conditions for the operation of double deck container trains, and the construction period is planned to be 4 years.

According to the person in charge of Zhejiang Province, Jinhua Ningbo railway construction is an important project to improve the regional railway network layout. Connecting Yiwu and Ningbo, the line is of great significance to realize the interconnection between the world's small commodity capital (Yiwu) and the world's largest port (Ningbo Zhoushan port), improve the status of Ningbo's comprehensive transportation hub, and boost the economic and social development along the line.
