since the tunnel construction on June 10, 2016, the headquarters in western Yunnan organized the project Department of Dalin railway of China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. to continuously explore and adjust the technology according to the geological changes, carefully organize the site management, adopt the bench method excavation, strictly implement the principle of "first detection, pipe ahead, short footage, weak disturbance, strong support, fast closure and frequent measurement", and the project department is reasonable. Arrangement, careful management and various effective measures have been taken to overcome various construction problems such as large red bed deformation, large water inflow, serious bias pressure and large settlement in western Yunnan. After more than 1000 working days of hard work, the long tunnel with a length of more than 3km has been the first to be connected in the whole line.

Xinhua tunnel with a total length of 12.3km is a key and difficult control project of China Myanmar international channel Dalin railway, which is located in Nanjian County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The surrounding area is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with beautiful scenery, towering walls and beautiful natural environment, which makes the railway construction extremely difficult. In geology, it is softened to be muddy when encountering water. The tunnel body is easy to sink and deform. The rock mass is broken and easy to fall off. In order to deal with the complex geology of the surrounding rock of the tunnel, the project department constantly explores and adjusts the technology, strictly abides by the construction standards, and guarantees the construction safety, project quality and surrounding ecological environment in the process of tunnel construction. In the process of construction, the construction headquarters of West Yunnan Railway of Kunming Railway Bureau Group of China Railway organized the participants to overcome many problems, such as high water pressure, high heat, high seismic intensity and high stress.
