On September 30, Hajia Railway, the longest express railway in China's alpine region, was opened and operated for one year. Over the past year, Hajia Railway has experienced the peak passenger flow in spring, summer and May and Mid-Autumn Festivals. It has run nearly 20,000 multiple trains, running more than 6 million kilometers and transporting 8.85 million passengers.
Since the opening of Ha-Jia Railway, 13.5 pairs of EMU trains have been running every day in the initial stage, but now it has increased to 28 pairs per day, with the shortest train interval of 20 minutes and the fastest running time of the whole journey of 1 hour and 58 minutes. Nowadays, there are 44 trains running between Harbin and Jiamusi every day. During the summer transportation this year, Hajia Railway transported 1.91 million passengers, effectively alleviating the pressure of passenger flow in Heilongjiang Province.
Hajia Railway has become a new engine of economic development in Longjiang, making 80% of districts and counties along the railway without trains leap into the era of motor vehicles. The Hajia Railway also connects the Ha-Da high-speed railway and the Ha-Qi high-speed railway, and connects many cities throughout the country through high-speed rail trains.
With the help of Dongfeng, Hajia Railway opened and operated, various travel agencies in Heilongjiang Province launched new tourism products such as "weekend Longjiang Tour" and "one-day high-speed rail tour". According to the relevant person in charge of Yilan County Tourism Bureau, the Hajia Railway has been in operation for one year, and more than 60,000 passengers have traveled to the county by motor vehicle, with an obvious increase.
