Good news: New progress has been made in the construction of Yawan High Speed Railway

In the morning of September 30th, with the box girder of 32 meters long, 2.8 meters high and weighing 720 tons, it was exactly landed on the piers of the 1 Beam Yard of the Wan Wan high-speed railway. The first box girder of the Wan Wan high-speed rail line was successfully erected, and the construction of the Indonesian railway to the Bandung high-speed railway, which was led by the National Railway Group, was progressing smoothly. Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Xiao Qian and Indonesian Minister of State-owned Enterprises Lini attended the ceremony and watched the whole process of the first box girder erection.

Since the construction of Yawan High-speed Railway started in 2016, all the participants of China Railway Commonwealth Enterprises have adhered to the construction objectives of "high-quality engineering, demonstration engineering", organized construction scientifically and orderly, and continued to set off a construction boom. New progress has been made in the construction of the project.

This beam erection project is undertaken by China Railway Consortium Enterprise China Electricity Construction Indonesia Yawan High-speed Railway Project Department. The No. 1 Beam Yard is located on the right side of DK28, covering an area of about 20 hectares. It undertakes the task of prefabricating, transporting and erecting about 1017 box girders on Yawan high-speed railway main line. It has passed the CRCC certification examination of bridge products smoothly. It has the ability to produce safe, high-quality and qualified products steadily and ensures the smooth completion of the first box girder erection task.

The Wan Wan high-speed rail connects Indonesia's capital and the fourth largest city, Bandung, which is the first high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in Indonesia and even Southeast Asia. The project is constructed and operated by Chinese railway enterprises in cooperation with Indonesian enterprises. After the completion and opening of the project, the travel time between the two places will be shortened from 3 to 5 hours to 40 minutes.
