Brief Introduction of Tianjin Metro Line 3

Tianjin Metro Line 3 is the North-South backbone of Tianjin Rapid Rail Transit Network. It is 33.7 kilometers long. There are 26 stations on the whole line, including 18 underground stations, 7 elevated stations and 1 ground station. On October 1, 2012, the Xiaodian-High-tech Zone was opened for trial operation. On December 28, 2013, the high-tech zone - South Railway Station was opened for trial operation. So far, Tianjin Metro Line 3 runs through the whole line. Metro Line 3 leads from Tianjin South Station in Xiqing District, through Haitai Avenue, through the outer ring road into the urban area, along Yingshui Road, Shuihai Park, Shuibei Road, Meteorological Station Road, Yingkou Road, Chifeng Road, through Tianjin Station and the residential community near Tianjin Station Back Square, along Kunwei Road, Sanma Road, down through Tianjin North Station and Beining. Park, along the East Railway, through the North Ring Railway, along the Yixingbu Town planning road, after crossing the outer ring from underground to elevated along the Jinwei Highway, after crossing the Fengshan River, from elevated to ground to reach the terminal Xiaodian.
