Xinjiang Railway Passenger Delivery for Summer Transport Over Tens of Millions of Passengers
On August 31, the 62-day summer transport of Xinjiang Railway closed successfully, with 10.195 million passenger transmissions, an increase of 20.6% compared with the same period last year, ranking first in the country. After many adjustments of passenger train diagram, Xinjiang Railway increased 77.5 pairs of trains, compressed 125 pairs of train operation time, and optimized 60 pairs of passenger train operation sections and stops. Taking Urumqi two passenger stations as an example, the number of passengers transported by the two stations is 4.033 million, an increase of 506,000, or 14.3%, over the same period of last year.
