The First Continuous Beam Closure of West Korean Intercity Railway
On August 27, with the completion of the concreting of the last side, the continuous beams of the West Korean Intercity Railway Bridge across Weipu Expressway, which was built by the Eleventh Bureau of China Railway, closed smoothly. This is the first continuous beam of the West Korean Intercity Railway to be smoothly integrated.
According to the staff of West Han Intercity Railway Co., Ltd., the whole length of the continuous beam across Weipu Expressway is 145.2 meters. It is difficult to construct with hanging basket and suspension grouting method, and the safety risk is high. The smooth closure of the continuous girder of the bridge across Weipu Expressway has accumulated valuable experience for the follow-up safety construction of the West Korean Intercity Railway.
Xi'an-Hancheng Intercity Railway Project is an important part of Guanzhong Urban Agglomeration Intercity Railway Network and a key construction project in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Shaanxi Province. The project line passes through Sanyuan County of Xianyang City, Yanliang District and Lintong District of Xi'an City, Fuping County, Pucheng County, Chengcheng County and Heyang County to Hancheng City of Weinan City. The length of the line is about 175.7 kilometers. The inter-city railway from Xi'an to Hancheng will further accelerate the integration process of Fuping and Yanliang, promote Hancheng to integrate into the one-hour economic circle of Xi'an, promote the development of tourism resources along the line, and facilitate the travel of nearly 7 million people along the line.
