Construction and operation of the first traction station of Lianhuai Yangzhen Railway

The reporter learned from the municipal power supply department that the first traction station of Lianhuai Yangzhen Railway - 220 KV Huai Andong Traction Station was successfully completed and put into operation on the afternoon of 25th.

It is known as the "heart" of the high-speed railway traction power supply system. Six new traction stations have been built on Lianshui (Guannan), Huai'an East, Baoying, Gaoyou, Yangzhou South and Hengshan (Zhenjiang) along Lianhuai Yangzhen Railway. Among them, Huai'an East Traction Station is a common traction station for Lianhuai Yangzhen Railway and Xusu Huaiyan Railway. Huai'an East Traction Station is located in the eastern part of Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, about 200 meters west of Beijing-Shanghai Expressway. It has four main transformers with capacity of 50 megavolt-ampere (both of them are available) and related primary and secondary equipment. In order to meet the construction needs of Lianhuai Yangzhen Railway, Huai'an East Traction Station has completed supporting 220 kilovolt line project and 220 kilovolt line relocation project.
