Pingliang-Qingyang Railway can pass the evaluation smoothly
From August 26 to 27, the Engineering Design Appraisal Center of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. organized a feasibility study and evaluation meeting of Pingliang-Qingyang Railway Modification in Beijing. Mao Bin, Deputy Director of National Railway Group Appraisal Center, Zhu Weichang, Deputy Director of Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Huang Jizong, Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, Executive Vice Mayor and First Survey and Design Institute of China Railway, Lanzhou Railway Co., Ltd., Qingyang Municipal Government and Pingqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission took part in the meeting. The meeting pointed out that the spirit of "Summary of Talks" on May 9 should be fully implemented through research review, which embodies a realistic attitude, rational layout and route, objective analysis, proper arrangement, and in-depth research to achieve the desired objectives, with strong operability and forward-looking. The meeting held that the Pingqing Railway is a major event in the social and economic development of Longdong and a dream project expected by the people of the old districts of Pingqing. It will have a significant impact on boosting the confidence of the two cities in economic and social development, breaking through the bottleneck of Longdong's "isolated island" of transportation and meeting the people's demand for fast railway.
The meeting made it clear that the Pingqing Express Railway is positioned as a passenger-oriented railway, taking into account a small amount of freight, increasing tourist passenger traffic in peak season. The locomotive type is EMU, and the line is 112 km long. It is introduced from Qingyang Railway Station to Pingliang Railway Station through 40 Li Pu Town. The technical standard designs a single line speed of 160 km/h, and reserves double lines and further development. Speed-up engineering conditions. The renovation and upgrading of Pingliang Railway Station Station is included in the design and construction of this project.
