Anshan Railway Station is located 306 km 593.5 m from Dalian, 5.155 km from Lishan Station in the north and 5.298 km from Jiubao Station in the south. Anshan Railway Station is a second-class station directly under the jurisdiction of Anshan Railway Depot of Shenyang Railway Administration. It is an intermediate station for passenger and freight transportation, mainly dealing with the reception and shunting of passenger and freight trains and the replenishment of freight trains. At that time, the Japanese invaders decided to establish an iron-making station in Anshan. The original Lishan station and the old fortress station (then called Anshan station) were far from the city center. In April 1917, while the so-called Anshan iron-making station construction commencement ceremony was held, "town sacrifice", a new railway station was set up at the present Anshan station site, which was called "Anshan post", while the former will be the original one. The Anshan post (now the old fortress station) was renamed Qianshan post. In order to meet the needs of Engineering construction, temporary passenger and landing stations were set up at that time, and new stations were constructed actively at the same time.
